Triburg signs on to WFX Platform

New Delhi, India – World Fashion Exchange Inc. has been signed on as the enterprise wide solution provider for Triburg. All Merchandisers at Triburg now have access to an electronic platform, for working more efficiently internally and interacting with their vendors. The platform is on Microsoft’s asp.NET technology.

Triburg is the largest Buying House for Apparel and Accessories in South Asia and has over 45 Buyers in its portfolio. “It is an ideal mix of technology and business best practices for the fashion industry, and shall enable our organization to be more efficient” says Mr. Nitin Mohan, Chief Technology Officer, Triburg.

The WFX Platform is being run off servers at the Triburg Offices & shall connect to the “WFX-PARTNER” installed in the Apparel Factories. The Factories shall now receive Electronic Purchase Orders with a Time & Action Calendar. On completion of Tasks the “WFX Partner” in the factory shall automatically synchronize with the WFX Platform at Triburg to update status. This shall be viewed in real-time by the Merchandiser at Triburg or by the Buyer directly.

Using “Scan & Pack” the garments are scanned & documents made automatically are sent online to Triburg and the Buyer. This reduces a substantial amount of work as well as chances for errors for the factory.
