D. Michael Barnes Joins World Fashion Exchange Inc. Advisory Board

Moonachie, NJ – D. Michael Barnes, A former vice president and board member of Kurt Salmon Associates, has joined the advisory board of World Fashion Exchange, Inc. an IT solutions company focusing on the soft goods industry. World Fashion Exchange provides an Internet-based, business-to-business supply chain solution designed for apparel retail, wholesale, import/export and manufacturing businesses.

Mr. Barnes is a senior Information Technology consultant with over 25 years experience in the development and implementation of Information Technology and soft goods supply chain strategies. He works with medium to large size consumer products and retail firms in the innovative application of technology to address core business needs and to develop and sustain a competitive advantage. During his career, Mr. Barnes rose to the level of vice president at Kurt Salmon Associates, a leading global management consulting firm and was responsible for the North American IT strategy and Operations Practices section. Mr. Barnes was also a member of the Kurt Salmon board. Retired from Kurt Salmon in 1999, Mr. Barnes is currently an independent consulting associate for the firm.
